Mere Dholna Sun

Even today bollywood movie has some amazing numbers of classical music. This is one such song and I will cherish this forever. I remember how I convinced my college music team to perform on this song for VTU festival competition and finally we got first prize!! Well to mention, we had an amazing bunch of people in our group and without them this song wouldn't have been justified. I am thankful to all those people - Amruth, Balaji, Govind, Manasa and Jagdish.
This is an amazing song sung by Shreya Ghoshal and M G Sreekumar from the movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Enjoy!!

Suniyo Ji - Lekin

Lekin movie has all awesome songs. This is again my favorite one. I heard this song in on of the youtube videos while I was searching for kesariya balama. And I was amazed to see in one of the videos that how beautifully Shreya Ghosal has sung this song in sa re ga ma pa competition in her childhood. I think its the greatest gift in ones life to be able to hear such songs by legend Lata Mangeshkar.

Kesariya Balama

Another song from movie "Lekin" - Kesariya balama. This is again my favorite song. I remember I heard this song 1st time from Aishwarya of Chhote Ustaad. Since then I practiced this song and also performed in couple of stages.
Enjoy this song originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar!!

Jhoote Naina Bole - Lekin

My Journey for art began with kathak dance when I was 5 years old. I think I was fortunate to learn kathak dance as my kathak teacher, Mrs. Moli Das, was my neighbor. Seeing my friends go there and dance and perform on stage, dressed up beautifully, tempted me to learn dance. My parents always fulfill my desire. There with dance I got the basic knowledge of taal. As time passed people realized my inclination for music and my parents sent me to music school as well where I was learning Rabindranath song as well as hindusthani classical music. And There the journey for art begins!!!
One of my favorite songs sung by Asha Bosle and Satyasheel Deshpande.
The music is composed by Hridaynath Mangeshkar and the lyrics were written by Gulzar. This is an amazing amalgamation of classical music as well as kathak dance.
